Atomic design for brand consistency

What is atomic design?

As websites grow and become more complex to meet the demands of SEO, accessibility and changing business needs, it's not uncommon for sites to contain thousands of pages and products. So consistency can become a real challenge. Atomic design is a methodology created by Brad Frost that breaks down the HTML elements of a website into ‘atoms’, ‘molecules’ and ‘organisms’ – all of which come together to form complete templates and pages.

When changing one ‘atom’ of your site, all corresponding atoms across the website will automatically update to match. Employing atomic design makes it possible to create a fully customisable, easily scalable and visually appealing website that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg every time you want to update it. You’ll save resources, time and money – and you’ll ensure brand consistency across your entire site.
