Branding + strategy in the battle against deforestation

Background

Once in a while, we’re gifted with the opportunity to work with a product that could change the world! LIGNIA, a brand-new company, is on a mission to reduce hardwood deforestation, re-engineering sustainable softwoods to match the beauty and durability of woods like teak and oak.

 

Challenge

When LIGNIA came to us, they were still in the process of finishing the build of their factory in Barry, South Wales. So, their team asked us to create a complete brand and marketing strategy which would take them to market once their production facility was up and running.

 

Solution

We developed a master-brand architecture for them to cover their three products: LIGNIA, LIGNIA Yacht, and LIGNIA Fire. And we united the three specialist products under one proposition: “Made for whatever life throws at it.” We applied the brand across the business, and developed a new website, plus brochures and collateral for when they’re ready to launch.

 

Results

Now LIGNIA have our marketing plan in place, we’re about to launch advertising campaigns for LIGNIA Yacht and the main LIGNIA product to create awareness and demand from specifiers in the construction and marine yacht-building sectors. But you know us: we only celebrate when those measurable results roll in.
