Challenge

We were thrilled when IsDB approached us to put together their Annual Report on the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Program for CharityWorks (KAAP).

A charitable initiative set up in the late King’s name, KAAP implements education, health, and social services projects, worth around US$800million, in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries.

The Annual Report charts the achievements of a few of the many charitable projects and initiatives carried out over the previous year.

The challenge was to present the breadth of these projects in a thoughtful and sensitive way that would both inform and empower the reader.

Solution

A striking report that both enhances and respects KAAP brand guidelines. Every project had its own section marked by a different set of colours and graphic styles to impress the individuality and importance of each.

We proofed and edited the copy, ensuring the words were clear, concise, informative, and sensitive to each project.

We worked closely with our translation agency partners to produce Arabic and French versions, ensuring it was accessible to the diverse audience KAAP represents.

The resulting set of reports are a testament to the P+S team’s account management, flexibility and collaborative processes, while the design’s unique visual appeal creatively yet accurately represents the incredible impact KAAP’s work has made – and continues to make – for the countries and communities it touches.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
