Mark’s working life began in insurance compliance, but his current career trajectory kicked off in the e-learning sphere. Fast-forward through open-source LMS, Flash, AngularJS, PHP, MVC frameworks (including Laravel) and functional programming with Clojure for some impressive organisations (including Nokia Music no less!), and he can now be found busily working with Drupal and Symphony to develop web systems here at Proctors. Half Scottish, half English and born in Germany, Mark’s heritage is as eclectic as his talent and experience. The way to Mark’s heart? Football – his beloved Arsenal and local team Locking Park chiefly. Indie music – Oasis or Radiohead in particular. And the Back to the Future films. Well, the first and second. Best not mention the third.
