Upfest ‘happened’ in the South Bristol area last week and what a wonderful happening it was too.
We were privileged to see some of the greatest global names in street art in action, as well as those from closer to home.
To say that the work surpassed expectations would be an understatement. And it's bee an equal joy to see how a whole community of everyday residents and small businesses (barring a few exceptions) have come to embrace this phenomenon as an integral part of their community’s character.
As an example of a location becoming a brand, naturally formed from its grass roots and not the pen of a marketing strategist, you couldn’t find much better.
