With an authentic and collaborative approach, you will act as a 'critical friend' and coach, recommending interventions to improve organisational effectiveness and drive a positive culture. You will advise and guide the business on day-to-day employee relations activity, drive an agenda of high performance through performance development, talent management and continue to build on existing engagement practices.
You will be responsible for providing insights that support sound business decisions, ensuring we are fit for the future and helping us to be an employer of choice. · Input to and champion the people agenda and communicate its strategic importance across the business.
· Build strong and influential relationships with leaders and managers to translate business and people strategies into actionable plans
· Create a high-performance culture through the integration of a framework for evaluating performance and providing feedback.
· Ensure effective and commercial employee relation solutions through existing people policies and procedures.
· Manage all company recruitment, developing a recruitment strategy which showcases the company’s employer brand and attracts the best talent in the market.
· Establish a compensation framework and reward strategy.
· Drive and implement methods to measure engagement, ensuring a positive culture where people want to work.
· Implement an innovative and engaging talent management strategy which builds capability and supports succession planning.
· Drive improvements in line manager capability, coaching and mentoring to improve manager effectiveness.
· Use HR analytics and data to provide key insights to inform business decisions, organisational structures, and targeted initiatives.
· Manage annual employee lifecycle processes e.g., salary and bonus reviews, absence, holiday.
· Continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
· Lead and contribute to projects outside your direct area of responsibility.
· Align employee policies, processes, participation, and communication with our CSR policies.
· Proven People/ Business Partner within a creative or fast paced environment
· Experienced at delivering and driving people initiatives across all areas of the employment lifecycle.
· CIPD qualified (ideally to Level 7) withChartered status
· Experience of leading and managing change and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
· Confident working knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices.
· Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to relate to, influence and coach Senior Leaders as a ‘critical friend’.
· Solid commercial acumen.
· Demonstrable problem-solving skills - complex issues are broken down and options/approaches evaluated and presented thoughtfully.
· An inclusive leader who has a passion for creating a great people experience and who is commercially focussed and progressive.
· Resilient, practical and a self-starter; comfortable with working on own and in teams.
· Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
· Able to thrive in fast paced environments and operate successfully where there is ambiguity.
