Banging the DRUM for Panasonic

Everyone over at Proctors is excited today – we just found out that we’ve been nominated for a DRUM award for our work with Panasonic Toughbooks.

Black ties and evening dresses are being planned already – we can’t wait to find out how we fair in the Digital Strategy category.

Almost everyone in the agency has worked on the pan-European lead generation campaign that caught the shortlister’s eye, so unfortunately there isn’t room for individual thank yous.

Kevin Mason, Director of Digital and Strategy at Proctors said upon hearing the news:

“From the start, this has been one of the most ambitious projects in Proctors’ history. In terms of language, geography, industry sectors, messages and media, we’ve had to spread our thinking – and our strategy – wider than ever before.

“What we arrived at was a fully integrated campaign – one that really exploits the potential of carefully connected and measured cross-media communications."

And Account Director Ailsa Billington is over the moon with the nomination:

“It’s one of those jobs that doesn’t come along very often, and it’s fantastic to allow our ambition to be realised, thanks to a supportive client… and a lot of hard work from everyone here.”

Fingers crossed the big night will end in something shiny for reception shelves at both Panasonic and Proctors, though a nomination is honour enough to result in big smiles agency-wide.
