BMW Financial Services is the financial arm of the world-famous car manufactuer, BMW. As such, it provides financial products and services to BMW buyers, including HP, leasing and PCP offerings.
The key challenge for the business is to retain the prestige, high-value perception and persona of the parent brand, with an emphasis very much on ‘strong words spoken softly’. BMW as a brand is confident, understated and superlative. Its financial services brand needs to mirror this without fail.
This, however, always has to be achieved against a backdrop of heavy, often-changing industry regulation, which is an ever-present challenge. It was a challenge willingly accepted by Proctor & Stevenson when BMW Financial Services first approached us looking for a new brand identity…
