Destination Bristol appointed Proctors to update its website to make the most of online traffic. We were charged with refreshing look and feel, and revisiting information architecture with usability in mind.

The site also needed to integrate a content management system – given how quickly listings, events and tourist highlights changed, the team at Destination Bristol needed to something seriously responsive to ensure the site remained of-the-minute.

Designed to encourage visitors to discover just how much the South West’s booming first city offers, visitbristol.co.uk balances usability with inspiration. This one-stop-shop helps visitors discover where to eat, drink, play and stay, whether they plan to visit for weekend breaks or longer stays. But more than that, every page features a useful search-and-book function and a click-to-pick itinerary generator so appealing options are never lost.

Information is regularly updated so visitors never miss a big event – the site’s content management system means Destination Bristol can add new details quickly and easily.
