Cabot Circus

'Taste of Bath' festival competition

Cabot Circus is a one million sq ft project set to dramatically redefine the centre of Bristol. High-quality retail and leisure come to a new upmarket area adjoining Broadmead, with heavyweight edible temptations from Brasserie Blanc and the Harvey Nichols Second Floor Restaurant and Bar.

Meanwhile, over in Bath, Channel 4’s Taste festival was due to come to town. Given that this celebration of local eats and treats was running just before the Cabot Circus launch, it seemed the perfect place to raise awareness about how much the new development would soon be dishing up.

The Proctors response

Working closely with the Cabot Circus marketing team, we ran a competition, offering local gourmets the chance to win one of five tastebud-whetting meals for two.

These built awareness of the new development while proving foodie credentials. Design was sleek and sophisticated, copy tone light and playful. As for the promotion? A huge success…
