'So not a million miles away' – clearing campaign

Catching the eyes and imaginations of potential students during that all-important clearing period was the challenge given to us by Southampton Solent University.

The Proctors response
A range of eye-catching, carefully placed posters and printed pieces to showcase the new Solent brand at home and further afield. Key messages included Solent's high graduate employment rate, the 'hands-on' nature of Solent degrees, the breadth of courses available and just how (physically) close the reader is to getting a great education.

The results
Increased awareness across the local area and strong local brand recognition. In the words of Trevor Thorne, Director of Solent's Marketing and Communications Service:
