Reading Borough Council

Reading Reading Borough is unusual in that it owns and runs the local bus network. Which is great news for local residents, as services are focused on people not profits. More than that, RBC is keen to investigate new, greener methods of transport, including new bio-ethanol powered buses – an initiative it got in touch with Proctors to promote.

It’s rare that a project naturally presents an outstanding advertising opportunity, but in this case, the solution was simple: full bus liveries, of course!

We proposed a variety of options, from Bio-Man fighting pollution in Reading with comic-book aplomb through to the more conventional – though equally arresting – Green Wave Reading BC settled on, this exciting project was a designer’s dream from start to finish.
