Kcom Myriad promotion materials

With communications solutions enterprise-wide networks, IP contact centre solutions, Managed hosting, and application integration and consultancy, Kcom strives to give businesses the freedom to concentrate on what really matters: growing and moving forward. And the opportunity to think, plan, and progress, rather than being caught up in technical issues.

Kcom were looking for an extensive suite of promotion materials for each of their Inbound call management solutions: the Myriad Application Programming Interface (API) and the Myriad Inbound Call Management Portal.

Myriad API is Kcom’s Inbound Call Management solution, developed for inbound telephony resellers who want standout. Feature-rich, it offers a unique opportunity for resellers to build their own inbound call management service to suit their needs and those of their target customers. It also lets them integrate their existing call number management portals directly into the Kcom network.

Myriad Portal is Kcom’s simple to use white-label Inbound Call Management portal that enables Channel Partners to provision inbound services online, making real-time changes and adding services. It allows resellers to add new revenue streams quickly and easily, and lets them offer the portal to their customers, or retain control themselves.

The Proctors response
Our response to Kcom’s brief was multifaceted. For both the Myriad API and Myriad Portal audiences, we created:

Trade press advertorial
Using Kcom Sales Manager, Mike Wilkinson as a spokesperson for the Myriad offering, we highlighted the changes in the Inbound Call management arena, and discussed the features and benefits of Kcom’s ground-breaking Myriad API, and how it represented a more flexible solution for a changing landscape for resellers.

Spanning DM and digital, we also produced a suite of tailored marketing materials, specifically for each product’s target audience.

Myriad API
We created a product video for the Kcom product site. It gave an in-depth understanding of the key features and benefits of the Myriad API offering. We also created a high-end DM piece - a box holding a long-format brochure and a small Media player that when turned on, played the API video we’d created.

Myriad Portal
For Myriad, we created a suite of four audience-specific emails and three DM postcards. These highlighted just how Myriad could differentiate resellers’ Inbound Call Management service and give them stand out in the market. Covering pertinent topics such as additional revenue streams, increasing customer bases and ease and flexibility of management.

Both the emails and postcards drove people to watch the video, download a Whitepaper, going online or calling to book a free demonstration.

Visually, we created a ‘building-block’ style graphic complete with relevant ‘icons’ on each face. Working across all collateral, and fitting in perfectly with Kcom’s existing brand look and feel, it allowed us to show the breadth of choice and control resellers now have over their offering to their customers. This graphic treatment would later be carried across to the Myriad pages on the Kcom site.
