'How Projects Work' direct mail, email and website

Two huge names. One exciting course to market. The OU contacted Proctors for help spreading the news about their ‘How Projects Work’ course – a two-day professional development programme to build project management skills within small businesses.

The Proctors response
Highly personalised direct mail postcards and emails were created and sent out to SMEs. These communications played on the brand capital of both the OU and Rolls Royce, suggesting to the audience that they too could learn the skills that have made Rolls Royce such a success, all through the UK's leading provider of distance learning. Emails and postcards drove prospects to personalised microsites where they could find full details of the course programme, discover business benefits in greater detail and sign up to participate.

The results
Though we don’t have detailed results of this campaign’s success, the OU was more than happy with the results. In the words of the OU marketing team:

“Direct marketing campaigns by Proctors were cost-effective and innovative, resulting in the generation and management of qualified leads.”
