Holiday Cottages brochures 2008 – 2010

The National Trust owns and manages over 350 holiday cottages, houses and apartments in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, making it the largest owner and operator of holiday homes in Britain.

To promote these cottages, the Trust produces an annual Holiday Cottages brochure – which had retained the same design for three years. All that changed in 2008, when Proctors was appointed to create and distribute a brand new brochure.

The Proctors response
Working with clear guidelines and objectives in mind, we produced an all-new version, making the brochure work harder than ever before. The design was updated, and more effective and informative signposting was introduced.

The finally produced piece was received well throughout the UK, and was supported by supplementary mailing materials inviting prospective holidaymakers to order copies of the brochure.

The results
We've enjoyed working with the Trust ever since, updating and improving subsequent brochures, with a new-brand 2010 version just launched. Maggie Bush at the Trust describes the experience:

“Proctors provided excellent support and produced an outstanding brochure. Its creative design thinking has enhanced the product and the project management of the print has resulted is a much brighter and clearer end product.

I confidently recommend this a reliable and committed agency – it is undoubtedly expert in its field.”
