Cycle Block
Our challenge? Raise awareness of business in South West England, with a focus on skills and learning, the environment, partnerships, innovation, and technology.
The intention? To question the preconceptions of inward investors and influencers, from media to Government ministers.
The Proctors response
After discovering just how much our region has to offer, researching success stories and whittling down a shortlist of subjects, interviews were carried out, photography commissioned, photoshoots undertaken and a stunning hard-backed book – featuring Michael Eavis, high-flyers Airbus and Aardman, local legend James Dyson and a wealth of other interesting stories and unsung heroes – was created.
These books, supported by a personalised DM letter, caused a stir from doormats to desktops.
The results
A communication that far surpassed expectations. The book really is a beautiful thing - striking images meet engaging copy in a package produced to the highest quality. Initially unmissable, appealing enough to warrant a second glance… and in many cases, at home or in receptions across the region and beyond.
What’s more, the book has become a model for further publications highlighting the strength of the creative and technology industries in the South West.
