Hamworthy

Creating cohesion and a new brand

With subsidiaries spanning the globe and a wealth of individual communications in existence, helping Hamworthy define its identity was the first step. Proctors undertook a research project to establish the company’s place amongst its competition and define a series of strong, credible and persuasive messages behind which the entire organisation could unite.

The Proctors response
Working closely with the in-house team made up of members from across the business units, Proctors helped define the organisation’s USPs, enhance morale company-wide and breed a real sense of cohesion, aimed at helping the individual businesses understand and value what the company offers as a whole. The ultimate success of the project relied on the backing of senior management through the delivery of a series of locally delivered motivational presentations supported by brand champions in each business unit.

The results
A satisfied client. As Graham Lockyer, Hamworthy Group Marketing Manager, says:

"When you're working on large projects you need a reliable and responsive team that will do what they say they are going to do. For the past five years we've worked with Proctor & Stevenson because they listen to what we have to say, understand what we are trying to achieve and always come up with effective solutions."
