Cabot Circus has dramatically redefined the centre of Bristol. High-quality retail and leisure has come to a new upmarket area adjoining Broadmead… complete with 4000 new jobs to fill.
The challenge
As Bristol enjoys low unemployment, the task of recruiting exceptional people for 120 different employers – and a range of roles from ‘Geniuses’ at Apple to talented management for Cinema De Lux – really was a challenge.
The Proctors response
To meet such a broad remit, Proctors developed an over-arching brand that built awareness of Cabot Circus, yet offered the versatility to fill individual roles on an ad-hoc basis. Alongside presence in local media, supporting creative included everything from online ads to bus livery.
The results
So far, the strategy has been hugely successful. The roles filled fast… with a huge 4000 applications submitted over the course of a three-day job fair, and strong ongoing response.
