Acquisition campaign

DB Systems specialises in creating incredible moving image exhibition displays, that customers can touch, be a part of and interact with. Multimedia brought to life in displays that move, spin, tilt and slide. Whatever a brand needs to convey, however they dream of presenting their messaging, DB Systems can make it happen.

The brief primarily, was to make more people aware of DB Systems and convince them to get in touch.

DB Systems were also looking to:

• Rationalise and adjust their current approach to their various segmented targets, i.e. exhibitors, agencies, organisers etc.

• Develop a strategic approach that covered their various offerings.

• Move the company away from a perception of being an equipment provider to being a solutions provider.

• Have a suite of materials that improved on current marketing, and strong calls to action to open up dialogue between exhibitors and their agencies.

• Leverage event exhibitor lists to communicate quickly to new prospects.

The Proctors response
• We demonstrated DB Systems’ creative ability with AV/IT equipment, by showing their projects through rich media content, video, flash, and animation etc to increase the impact the existing site had on visitors.

• We also devised a suite of emails offering DB Systems’ specialist offerings, ecoXpress and DBpixelhouse, as well as their more traditional equipment provision. These emails were sent at timely intervals in the pre-event and exhibition window to capture the needs of exhibitors.

• We also targeted exhibitors directly, with an engaging message and strong call to action asking key questions “Are you getting enough from your agency?” and “Are you getting enough from your exhibition opportunities?”
