And so it was, that one wet and blustery Sunday in September, the Proctors Dragons picked up their paddles, and did battle with 30 other dragon boat teams from around Bristol for St. Peter's Hospice '100 Club' for 2012
Being mainly a digital marketing creature, I tend to be interested in virtual, digital trends and phenomena. However, today two things from the physical, real world caught my eye. They are the first really inspiring, forward looking examples of a term that was coined a while back – “the internet of things”. It was touted, as most things digital, as the next big thing. With these two things, I think it just got interesting enough to start warranting the mantle.

St Peter’s Hospice recently asked us if we’d like to come on board for their 2012 ‘100 Club’ – an opportunity to join with 99 other Bristol-based businesses to raise £100,000 (and hopefully plenty more) for the charity. Culminating in a Charity Dragon Boat race in October.
We thought that an update of the Proctors People section of our site (yep, that’s us lot) was long overdue. Especially since we’re all now a little bit older (and hopefully wiser) since the last snaps were taken.
For our 2011 Christmas message, all of us here at Proctors thought it would be nice to spread peace and good will to all men, right here from Bristol. And what better way to do just that, than to take a tiny peek at the city itself during the yuletide festivities, (‘tiny’ being the operative word.)
